Any Members here, have an XBOX360? If you answered yes, you undoubtedly own "CromeHounds". If you do not...smack yourself. I'm looking to start a Chrome Squad that can be directly linked to this forum..... (That, and every other squad I join doesn't give a *&$% about working as a squad).... SO! Anyone willing to join in on the fun, post yer gamer tag, which country you'd like to aid, your RT and name suggestions for the Squad.... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's ALOT slower than AC. It relies heavily on teamwork and communication.
One wrong miscomunication will have you blowing the heck outta your own commander, It's a game that requires good teamwork, and a yearning to be an excellent squad and pilot.

I've heard that the singleplayer left something to be desired, but the multiplayer is sublime.
Not that I'd know either way, since I'm too poor for a 360.

You absolutely need XBOX live to Appreaciate the Game..... single player is basically a number of missions to get you trained in a specific RT.
RT stands for RoleType, or, the role your Hound plays on the Field. There are SIX RTs.
--SOLDIER-- A front line assault hound. They are usually equipped with medium to short range weaponry, and are the best blend of speed and firepower. They are usually Bipedal and carry a medium amout of armour. Most often seen equipped with Machingun, SHotgun, anti-hound cannons/rockets, and Assault Rifles. If you like to see your reflection in the enemies Chrome, this is for you.
--Sniper-- Snipers are the "Horizon Hounds", nailing you with pinpoint shots to the cockpit and taking out weaponry from miles away. Snipers are usually Bipedal with a decent amount of speed. However, what it has in firepower, it lacks in armour. Since the Sniper's weapons are huge on the hound's flanks, they are succeptable to direct hits and weapon malfunction (I've lost my weapon-cam like eight times. Ever try to blindfire at a target three grids away?). Not the sturdiest of hounds, suited for rear placement. Just pray you see the sniper, before he sees you.
--Defender-- Defenders are the BigBrothers on the battlefeild. If you having trouble or being overrun, call in your squad's defender and it may turn the tides. These Hounds are usually outfitted with every type of Anti-hound weapon imaginable. Mostly equipped with track-drives, they have a limited speed and terrian threshold. They are heavily armoured, and capable of taking serious punishment before worrying about bailing. There are few things more terrifying than cresting a hill only to see a defender let loose a 30missle salvo into your Hound.
--Scout-- Scouts are the true heroes of the battle feild. Brave enough to venture deep into enemy territory with little to no armour or weapons. Thier job is to fly into the unknown to capture COMBAS (communication relay points) so that the squad will be able to communicate on the battle field. They are by far the FASTEST Hounds on the field and can outmanuever just about anything. Usually equipped with hovervents or a Wheeled chassis. I have actually seen this RT transformed into what people are calling the "ASSASIN RT" They will equip a scout with Parrying Blades (pnuematically driven rails that punch right through the toughest armour, requires point blank range) then use it's speed to get right next to an enemy hound....then usually drop it in just one or two blows. Either way, a true asset to any Squad.
--Heavy Gunner--- If the Defender is BigBrother...... then this RT would be your Daddy. These Titans plod around on a Multipedal chassis and once at a good fireing point, can rain destruction across the map! This RT resembles a mountian of armour, equipped with cannons as big as a small hound!! If paired with a good commander, this RT can end the battle before it begins by pulvirizing a grid with artillery fire. If one is encountered at close range, get CLOSER and FAST, if a Heavy Gunner was to sight in on you with direct fire, it could be over in one shot... however, get in close enough, and strafe around, the Heavy Gunner becomes a helpless turtle.........
------Commander-------- ANY GOOD SQUAD NEEDS A GOOD COMMANDER!!! That is paramount. The commander is responsible for keeping the squad together in communications and with orders. The commander is HIGHLY succeptable to enemy fire, and is very lightly armoured. It very very rarely even carries a weapon. Commanders are easy to spot because they are equipped with an Array of comunication devices. They also create a small communication bubble, even when in enemy controlled teritory, you can speak to eachother in this bubble. Keep you cammander alive, the squad can't survive without a brain.
Well, I hope I described the RT's for you well enough. I'll be more than happy to answer any other questions.

Alright, I've decided that I'm most likely a heavy gunner because I make gatlings my biatch!
Of course, we won't know for sure until I buy my own Sexbox 369 myself, which'll be a month or so. But when I do, expect me to pack as much rotary firepower as I possibly can!
